Job Description - Commercial Lines Executive

Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and fostering strong client relationships. As a Commercial Lines Account Executive, you will be responsible for various aspects of account management, policy administration, and client communication. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization within the insurance industry.

Reporting Location : This is a full-time, hybrid position 

Primary Job Responsibilities :


  • Account Management:

    • Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts with premium ranges from $500 to $500,000.
    • Demonstrate expertise in the remarketing of existing accounts, ensuring optimal coverage and client satisfaction.
  • Policy Administration:

    • Proficiently quote policies, process changes online across various insurance company platforms, and facilitate audit processing.
    • Execute endorsement, cancellation, audit, and recommendation processes with precision.
    • Skillfully handle claims processing and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Client Communication:

    • Engage in daily correspondence with clients, producers, and insurance company underwriters to maintain effective communication channels.
    • Provide exceptional service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Documentation and Compliance:

    • Update client applications, Acord forms, and Supplemental applications to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of various insurance company websites.
  • Policy Processing:

    • Efficiently process new and renewal policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Administrative Duties:

    • Issue Auto ID cards promptly and accurately.
    • Conduct daily activity follow-up to ensure tasks are completed within established timelines.
  • Colleague Support:

    • Provide desk coverage for colleagues during their time off, maintaining a seamless workflow and supporting team cohesion.

Requirements :


  • Minimum of 8 years experience.
  • Property and Casualty licensed.
  • Proficient working knowledge and experience with commercial insurance markets, coverages and companies.
  • Working knowledge of the following lines of business: General Liability, Property, BOP, CPP, Commercial Auto, Commercial Umbrella, Workers Compensation, Disability, EPLI, Cyber, Directors and Officers.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Previously managed a book of $4 Million or more.

Preferred:


  • Proficiency in EPIC
  • Working knowledge of various commercial insurance classes.

*Salary Range : $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience
