Saint Joseph East is a 217-bed full-service community hospital located in the rapidly growing southeastern section of Lexington Kentucky. We provide care for patients in Fayette and surrounding counties. At Saint Joseph East ambulatory surgery 24-hour emergency care and women’s health services are supported through a vast array of inpatient and outpatient program. Additional specialty services include Heart Care Breast Care Sleep Care and Weight Loss Surgery. Performs diversified administrative duties for the SVP or Facility President. Position is also accountable for providing administrative support to the Board of Directors. Work may include a broad range of complex responsibilities involving confidential or technical information and is responsible for planning, researching, problem-solving and performing special projects within minimal supervision, as directed by the Leader. This position will function independently, organize, prioritize, work well under pressure and deal effectively with all levels within and outside the organization.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite. 5 years Executive Assistant experience required. 2 years working with Corporate Board. Ability to work effectively using a team approach and to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with all staff, physicians and others. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
PREFERRED Qualifications
Business School or Associates Degree. Medical background is preferred as well as professional/community involvement.
