Finishing Operator - Wilmington, DE The Finishing Operator is responsible for completing production activities to ensure safe production through the execution of Toyota Production System (TPS) principles, tools, and techniques. The Finishing Operator is responsible for troubleshooting, completing accurate production reporting, and assisting with on-the-job training for new employees in the assigned operating area. Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated ability to understand and work with analytical and mechanical equipment, including troubleshooting such equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work independently at times using SOPs and work instructions.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn operating with DCS and PLC interfaces
• Good understanding of 5S, visual management, KPIs, standard work and other TPS tools
• Willingness and ability to work overtime beyond normally scheduled work hours
• Willingness and ability to participate as a member of the site’s emergency response team

Experience & Education: * HS Diploma/Equivalent

• h2>* BS/BA
• Six Sigma/Lean training/certification
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in Batch Chemical Operations
• Experience in pigment finishing operations
• Experience using TPS tools in a manufacturing environment
