Job Description - HR Coordinator

We are seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency is extremely important to this job. Cooperative and politely work and deal with others, and to effectively multi-task and work in a stressful environment are also essential functions to this job.



Responsibilities:
•    Enter new hires; pay rate changes, and termination information for all employees.
•    Review applications/resumes; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant qualifications.
•    Advise managers, supervisors, and employees on human resource policies.
•    Assist departments with personnel/payroll related inquiries; advise and assist on current departmental HR procedures related to employee records; coordinate activities and acts as liaison between departments and general staff.
•    Provide information and consultation regarding employment issues, i.e., transfers, promotion/demotion, reduction-in-force, placement, etc.
•    Oversee employee events to ensure adherence to the Employee Recognition Guidelines.
•    Prepare, maintain, or monitor various personnel and risk management programs/files.
•    Perform a variety of responsible office support work such as composing confidential correspondence and resolutions, preparation of spreadsheets and data entry.
•    Interprets applies and explains Company policies, and state and federal laws and regulations.
•    Maintaining accurate records and files.
•    Onboarding process with R1 BambooHR software.
•    Responsible for I9, W4, Background checks.
•    Offboarding as well as transfers.
•    Routinary visits to Accounts in Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama.
•    Conduct weekly HR conference meetings with managers.
•    Other duties assigned.
STRONGLY PREFERRED
•    Prior recruiting experience with a proven track record of sourcing talent preferred.
•    Experience with scheduling and basic event planning/execution
•    Bilingual is a plus but not required (English/Spanish)
•    Experience with Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office programs
•    2+ years of human resources or administrative support experience is ideal, but we can teach an individual who is eager to learn – “Never stop learning and growing” is a core value

•    Desire to learn and grow within the HR and Recruitment-related fields.
•    Creative writing skills is a plus but is not required!
•    Knowledge of recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, indeed, Zip Recruiter, etc.
•    Understanding of how to write and edit job descriptions.


Job Type: 
•    Full-time

•    Remote (work from home)
•    20% Travel Required or as needed
Pay and benefits: 
•    $44,200 - $57,200 per year
•    Company Laptop
•    Company Cell phone
•    Internet Hotspot
•    Yearly Bonus
Travel Accommodations: R1SS will cover Per diem, Gas, Hotel
Schedule:
•    Monday to Friday with some weekends during new account startups
•    Day shift with some 2nd and 3rd shift during plant visits.
Work Location: Hybrid/R1 Office at Tyler, TX
