Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Financial Functional Consultant with 6 to 7 years of experience in Oracle Financials. The resource will work closely with business users and technical teams to understand requirements, configure Oracle Financial modules, support testing, and resolve functional issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for Oracle Financials.


• Configure Oracle Financial modules based on business requirements.


• Work on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.


• Support financial processes including accounting, payments, receipts, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and period closing.


• Prepare functional specifications for technical development and integrations.


• Work closely with technical teams on reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions.


• Support integration between Oracle Financials and other Oracle Cloud modules.


• Perform configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.


• Prepare test scenarios and support SIT and UAT.


• Provide production support and resolve functional issues.


• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.


• Prepare functional documentation and user guides.


• Coordinate with business users, project managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders.


• Provide knowledge transfer and support to end users.

Required Skills

• 6 to 7 years of experience in Oracle Financials.


• Strong functional experience in Oracle Financial modules.


• Good knowledge of General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.


• Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials preferred.


• Strong understanding of accounting and financial business processes.


• Experience in requirements gathering and functional configuration.


• Experience preparing functional specifications.


• Good understanding of integrations with Oracle ERP and third party applications.


• Experience with SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud experience.


• Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud implementations or upgrades.


• Knowledge of Procurement, SCM, or HCM integrations.


• Experience with Oracle Financial reporting.


• Knowledge of REST and SOAP integrations.


• Experience working with international or multi-entity financial environments.
