Power BI Developer

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite) Pay Range: $80,000 to $90,000 Overview Come grow with us by joining our team as a Power BI Developer! In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. The Power BI Developer will be responsible for overseeing and managing our Business Intelligence Systems, including data visualizations and analytics. This role will be focused developing, maintaining, and enhancing the company’s Business Intelligence program for users at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

• Design, develop, and maintain modern reports and dashboards to support business decision making across the organization.
• Gather requirements and understand business needs from internal stakeholders to build useful and successful reports and visualizations.
• Validate reporting accuracy by testing outputs and analyzing data in the SQL database and front-end applications.
• Document and maintain a data warehouse and data models to aggregate business data from multiple sources.
• Present information in an easily accessible manner to company leadership
• Understand the data sources and manage risk of incorrect/incomplete data as it relates to the way data is stored or collected.
• Prioritize requests according to business needs, urgency, and scope.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• 2+ years Business Intelligence (BI) experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated experience using Power Query and DAX in Power BI.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL and creating views, queries, stored procedures, and otherwise extracting data from enterprise databases.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills to Management and Executive level.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and managing Microsoft SSRS or similar tabular reporting platform.
• Strong SQL skills including ETLs, SQL replication, and other methods of database management.
• Familiarity with Azure SQL or other cloud-based database platforms.
• Demonstrated experience using Python, R, SAS, or other data science languages.
• Professional Certification or relevant training in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics
• General knowledge of accounting and other business functions

• Work will be performed in an office setting.
• May be required to sit in long intervals and climb stairs
