Production Supervisor

Summary:        The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in operating a variety of machines to manufacture beverages.  The Production Supervisor develops methods to utilize personnel and resources in the best possible ways and determine whether overtime is needed for certain projects.  The Production Supervisor assists in developing more cost-effective processes and reducing waste while also increasing productivity and employee satisfaction.      Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
• Interprets specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
• Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations.
• Plans, monitors, and appraises job results, as well as coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees as needed. 
• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures. 
• Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment.
• Monitors personnel and resources. 
• Implements cost reductions.
