Job Description - Programmatic Media Supervisor

This company is looking for a Programmatic Supervisor to join their amazing team. You will be responsible for overseeing and growing programmatic strategy and partnerships for several brands. You will be leading planning and activation of several campaigns from ideation to launch to ongoing optimizations and insights, as well as creating and maintaining audience-based media plans across channels, including but not limited to: display, native, video, CTV and DOOH. At this company, everything they do is centered around their client objectives and success, so you will be working closely with many other technical specialties, including paid search, paid social and analytics as well as liaising with media/account directors and clients on behalf of the programmatic team. You will lead/mentor this team of experienced programmatic traders/strategists and assistants to grow in their respective roles through campaign optimization, data analysis, and fostering partnerships internally across disciplines as well as externally with platform representatives.

Requirements



  • 4+ years of work experience in a programmatic role; relevant vertical experience for the majority of that time

  • 2+ years trading experience with ad servers or DSPs, including but not limited to: Google Campaign Manager, MediaMath, DV360,YouTube, The Trade Desk, Amazon Advertising, etc.

  • Closely monitor real-time campaign data to maximize performance and scale

  • Supervise, direct, and review the development and implementation of specified programmatic media plans by programmatic planners & assistants

  • Serve as a resource for your programmatic team, supervising employee performance, time management and providing ongoing, real-time feedback

  • Quickly and calmly guide the team to resolve any technical or quality issues originating from programmatic channels

  • Strong interest in and maternity of digital media and programmatic current events (e.g. the ability to investigate, simply explain to other team members and apply knowledge to working campaigns)

  • Desire to work on, or interest, in life sciences and healthcare brands

  • Ensure the programmatic team successfully launches and manages programmatic campaigns across multiple platforms (Prior experience with ad servers or DSPs required, including but not limited to: Google Campaign Manager, MediaMath, DV360/YouTube, Amazon Advertising, etc.)

  • Strong math and analytical skills (preferably experience with media math & media plans)

  • Experience managing a team that requires fast-paced collaboration

  • Oversee accounting and quality assurance processes for client(s)

  • Working knowledge of client services, advertising operations and ad serving

  • Ability to work independently

  • Serve as the the day-to-day focal point for your client/account

  • Aid in the creation of client programmatic objectives and strategies

  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Suite). Comfortable with formulas (Vlookup, etc), pivot tables, chart creation and template building

  • Partner with Media Supervisor/Director & Account Director to create strategic vision for client campaigns

  • Lead client presentations, media plans and/or POV’s clearly in writing and through in-person presentations

  • Develop, launch and optimize cross-channel campaigns

  • Desire to work on, or interest, in the retail and eCommerce space

  • Oversee reliable and accurate campaign reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule

  • Foster relationships and supervise team relationships with external partner contacts, in partnership with associate director/director of programmatic

  • Lead technical POVs on new market technologies, key industry events/conferences, platform updates and innovative solutions for clients

  • Motivate, develop, and train your team members to grow in their careers
