Property Operations Supervisor

The recently opened  Signia by Hilton Atlanta , is seeking a Property Operations Supervisor for our maintenance/engineering team! This exciting new luxury hotel is a new destination for upscale hospitality, imaginative dining, and world-class events. With the legendary Georgia World Congress Center as our backdrop, this 976-room property is showcasing the soul of Atlanta in a whole new way! 

As a Property Operations Supervisor, you would be responsible for supervising and performing the duties of the maintenance/engineering team members in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Ideal candidates for this position will have previous hotel property operations/engineering leadership experience, ideally at a property of comparable size and of Hilton Brand.

Shift Pattern:  candidates should be available to work flexible shifts any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed

Pay Rate: $24 - $28 per hour,  final offer based on experience

What will I be doing?

As a Property Operations Supervisor, you would be responsible for supervising and performing the duties of the property operations/engineering team members in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specific responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Supervises and performs the duties of the property operations/engineering team to maintain the physical functionality of facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas.
• Assists Director/Manager in training, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating department staff. 
• Ensures staff compliance with all safety/loss prevention standards and regulations.
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry.
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
• Perform special duties/complete special projects as assigned
