Our client is a leading national distributor of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, heating and cooling systems for the residential, commercial and industrial markets. They are looking for a Regional Director of Sales and Branch Operations to join the team.


The Regional Director of Sales Branch Operations (RDSBO) is a senior management position which is responsible for the Company’s Sales Branch operations including the Sales, Marketing and promotions, of all products distributed and the operations and branch profitability of Branches in their designated region. The RDSBO reports to the Vice President & General Manager or Designate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to Branch Managers and to all employees in their region as appropriate;
  • Consistently providing superior customer service to customers so they will want to do repeat business;
  • Seeking out new business opportunities for recommendation to the Vice President & General Manager and executive management;
  • Working effectively with all personnel in all divisions and operations providing an example of leadership through tact, diplomacy and spirit of cooperation;
  • Maintaining expert-level skills and industry knowledge required to fulfil the Employee's duties and responsibilities including sales, marketing, and operations as they relate to the HVAC-R industry, through education including seminars, training courses and industry events;
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience overseeing $30M+ revenue OR any experience in a Branch Manager role, Operations Manager role, or Sales Management role within the HVAC industry
  • A degree or college diploma in administration, accounting, business, engineering or management;
  • 5 + years of Leadership experience either
  • Applied knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems;
  • Strong track record of exceeding company sales targets in a complex sales environment;
  • Proven ability to influence and develop employees to achieve objectives with a team approach,
  • Business acumen (sound judgement, managerial perspective and basic business understanding);
  • Willingness to continually upgrade skills via education, coaching or other training opportunities
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
