Rehabilitation Therapist

Position: Rehabilitation Therapist 
Location: North Providence, RI

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized rehabilitation plans, implement therapeutic techniques, and monitor progress towards recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans based on patients' needs, goals, and medical histories.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and function.
• Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to patients during therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, exercises, and strategies for maximizing recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patients' progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Stay informed about advancements in rehabilitation therapies and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Rehabilitation Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
• State licensure or certification as a Rehabilitation Therapist.
• Proven experience working in rehabilitation settings, preferably in outpatient or clinical settings.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
