Job Description - Contact Center Specialist

Job Description:


We are seeking a Contact Center Specialist to join our team at Aflac in Columbus, Ohio. As a Contact Center Specialist, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from policyholders and potential customers, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving inquiries related to insurance policies. This is a full-time position at the Associate Level, and we require a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: 1. Handle incoming calls and emails from policyholders and potential customers in a professional and timely manner. 2. Provide accurate information about insurance products and services offered by Aflac. 3. Assist customers with policy changes, claims processing, and other inquiries. 4. Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate department for resolution. 5. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any outstanding concerns. 6. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the company database. 7. Meet or exceed performance goals for call volume, customer satisfaction, and other key metrics. 8. Collaborate with team members to share best practices and strategies for improving contact center operations. 9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide informed support to customers.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service or contact center role. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Driven and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment. 6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think innovatively. 7. Demonstrated leadership capabilities. 8. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. 9. Knowledge of insurance industry practices and regulations is a plus.
