BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Securities Operations Analyst for an opportunity in Dallas, TX!

Position Title: Securities Operations Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 6 Months.

Job Type: FULL TIME, CONTRACT, ONSITE

Pay Range: $22.28/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Work shift: M-F, 8am-5pm CT

Requirements:

• Previous experience in financial services, especially within operations. A good working knowledge of all Asset Types. Securities Industry experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Security Market Data information and or Securities Operations functions are required.
• Exposure to Bloomberg, FT Interactive, DTC and Bank of New York Mellon are preferred

  Position Summary

• Establish and maintain asset positions on the Private Bank trust accounting system Profitability And Customer Enhancement (PACE).
• Position requires manual keying of data to a level comparable to department standards.
• Candidate must be able to transition between functions including adding positions on PACE, processing cost basis adjustments, submitting price updates and other functions as required. All activities must be performed in a timely manner focusing on accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of Excel is required. Candidate must possess a strong work ethic, be a highly motivated and productive self-starter, with strong organizational, written, and oral communication, as well as problem-solving skills.

  Required Skills:

• Ability to pick up new concepts and routines quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive Solid analytical skills, attention to details, and the ability to multi-task and meet time sensitive work and service level deadlines are required.
• Working knowledge of Security Market Data information and or Securities Operations functions are required.
• Exposure to Bloomberg, FT Interactive, DTC and Bank of New York Mellon are preferred. Intermediate skill level needed for PC applications (Excel and Word).

  Desired Skills:

• Previous experience in financial services, especially within operations. A good working knowledge of all Asset Types. Securities Industry experience is preferred.
