Position Summary

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about research and analysis in business development.

The selected candidate will work in the office in Huntsville, AL, El Paso, TX, Leavenworth, KS or remote (must be located in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington D.C.). The person in this role will be responsible for supporting corporate business development.

This is an exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to support the Growth organization to achieve growth and profit objectives, specifically through Capture and Proposal Development/Management in building customer relationships, positioning the company for both large and mid-sized strategic pursuits. This role will develop and implement winning capture strategies, support the business case, and develop bid and proposal budgets. In this role, the candidate must be able to build and maintain a close working relationship with Trideum leadership and customers to win Trideum new business pursuits.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with business unit goals and objectives, incorporating market analysis and research for future opportunities, and progressing them through CRM and capture tasks.
  • Define target markets, identify, and qualify new business opportunities, leading the development and management of strategic capture plans.
  • Contribute to proposal preparation and submittal and perform post-award stewardship to ensure successful operational transitions.
  • Lifecycle Role Performance: Perform various duties throughout the business development lifecycle, including roles such as Capture Manager, Proposal Manager, and Cross-Functional collaborator.
  • Apply the company’s Business Development process and develop value propositions to enhance competitive positioning and achieve client objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers, and recommend strategic hires, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering continuous improvement, and stay current with industry trends to adapt strategies to evolving market demands.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in business development and capture management with a proven ability to build winning strategies, win themes, and value propositions.
  • Advanced understanding of government procurement, fiscal, and regulatory environments, and demonstrated networking capabilities among various communities, including acquisition officials in the Department of Defense and other government agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience of successful business growth in DoD and Civil Government markets, both CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in negotiations, and experience with teaming arrangements.
  • Strong team leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage diverse teams with minimal direction while fostering collaboration.
  • U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
