Senior Quality Technician

Senior Quality Technician – Plastics Manufacturing – Base Salary to 70k/year – Allentown, PA

• Our client is a leading plastics manufacturer. They are a family owned and well-established company. They are currently seeking a Senior Quality Technician for their facility in Allentown.
• This Senior Quality Technician is an exceptionally organized professional who has the experience necessary to take our products to the next level of accuracy, security and safety. The Senior Quality Technician will be responsible for developing a complete QA program that not only safeguards the quality of our products, but also fosters a culture in which all employees are actively engaged in guaranteeing product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action investigations for quality-related issues.
• Perform regular quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to address quality improvement projects.
• Train and mentor production personnel on quality control processes and standards.
• Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
• Assists in implementing, maintaining, and auditing company quality systems to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
• Interacts daily with quality and production associates at their workstations to facilitate continuous improvement through observation of work, training, and knowledge transfer.
• Communicates quality issues to production personnel through various work aids (special instructions, quality alerts, direct training, etc.).

Qualifications:

• 5+ of experience in manufacturing engineering and quality engineering roles. (Associate degree or Technical education a plus).
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.).
• Experience with quality control tools and techniques (FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, etc.).
• CMM programing a plus
• Computer skills including MSOffice and ERP Software.

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 70k/year
