Job Description - Senior Reporting & Financial Planning Analyst

Candidate Profile You are someone who possesses the following experience and credentials:
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting required.
  • Minimum 5 years of total experience.
  • Experience in international accounting and reporting related topics desired.
  • Knowledge/experience with capital intensive project developments or energy-trading preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mastery of Pivot tables, graphs, formulas), Power Point.
  • Strong analysis, interpersonal skills and motivate to work in an international company.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Activities Your missions as a Senior Reporting & Financial Planning Analyst include:
  • Responsible for the monthly management reporting (Flash results, Essbase reporting) of the US Trading (Gas, LNG, Power and Dry) results to management in Geneva & Paris including research, analyze financial statements and reports may required by management.
  • Responsible quarterly IFRS reporting packages including statement of income, balance sheet and other appendices for TGPNA, validate and submit to TotalEnergies SE consolidation package (CAP), and TotalEnergies Holdings USA consolidation package.
  • Assist Financial Controller with analysis on working capital and all analytical questions as requested by Group.
  • Collaborate and coordinate closely with company and GRP Branch technical resources, provide financial reporting and technical accounting support to TGPNA, including ensuring appropriate accounting treatments are adopted (transaction analysis, memorandums on accounting approaches) align with IFRS and group financial reporting guidance as necessary.
  • Responsible for overall coordination of the budgeting and long term planning processes for TGPNA, including preparation of budget and long term plan templates, development of modelling and overall presentations for management.
  • Support and implement finance process enhancements & helps to strengthen the financial control framework for TGPNA.
  • Support Financial Controller on various projects and ad hoc requests as needed.
DIMENSIONS The Senior Reporting and Financial Planning Analyst (FP&A) is responsible for forecasting, planning, monthly and quarterly reporting, analyzing and articulating the financial results to management TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America, Inc. ("TGPNA"). In addition, he/she will be a key representative for financial and reporting matters for TGPNA. PURPOSES
  • Responsible for the budgeting and long-term plan of TGPNA.
  • Complete, accurate and timely reporting and communication to Finance & Trading of the results of the activities within scope
