The Senior Yield Analyst is responsible for developing the annual gross arrivals budget by resort for an assigned region, totaling more than $100M in gross revenue. This role collaborates with the Analysts, peer Senior Analysts, Managers, Directors and the VP of Inventory Management to drive Inventory Management department goals and deliverables. Using the annual budget, the Senior Yield Analyst is responsible for delivering to owner and non-owner arrivals through strategic decision making and collaboration among business partners. To meet these goals, the Senior Yield Analyst is strong in using analytical skills to compile data from multiple sources, provides ad-hoc reporting to leadership in a digestible format, and interprets the data to make informed decisions. In conjunction with leadership, the Senior Yield Analyst identifies training opportunities for the team, shares best practices and is an integral role in the development of analysts. This role will also support the overall organization on projects relating to system enhancements, resort operations support, among others.
How You'll Shine:
Develops an annual gross arrivals budget for applicable assigned resorts and region responsible for $100M+ in gross revenue. Delivers gross arrivals and net occupancy goals in plan relative to applicable assigned resorts and region, including achieving mix of owner and non-owner gross arrivals and maximizing total inventory utilization across all usage channels (Club, Exchange, Marketing and Rental).
Tracks performance to plan and identifies opportunities to drive incremental utilization based on current and historical trends.
Compiles and interprets data from internal systems for business performance measurement purposes, providing custom views to leadership as needed. Hands-on in the development, delivery, and assessment of recurring KPI reporting.
Provides direct support to resort based teams to monitor short and long term inventory plans. Guides the reconciliation of resort inventory across multiple sources, recognizing where process efficiencies are needed and taking action to outline and implement solutions that minimize risk.
Acts as lead resource in the training and development of Analysts, collaborating with peers to develop training materials and present to team.
Uses analytical, communication and interpersonal skills to work directly with Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, and Finance partners. Takes a lead role in monthly gross arrivals forecast calls with Sales leadership.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field.
Three (3) years forecasting or revenue management in a multi-property environment; Time Share, Hotel or Travel Industry experience preferred.
Preferred knowledge of operational systems – Focus, RCC, ION, Opera
Experienced in compiling and aggregating data across business information systems for performance measurement and executive summary purposes
Excellent communication and cross-team coordination skills
Solid oral, written, and presentation
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to identify and execute solutions to meet changing business needs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities in an efficient/timely manner, operating in a team lead capacity
