Job Description - Service Coordinator

Freeway Chevrolet is looking for a Service Coordinator to contribute to our dynamic service team! The Service Coordinator will provide administrative and customer support for the Service Department and will report to the Service Director. Core Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with general questions, OnStar setup, GM Rewards, and scheduling appointments, both in person and over the phone, consistently delivering excellent service
  • Make outbound calls to customers, vendors, etc.
  • Fill in for Service Advisors as needed, greeting customers as they arrive, beginning the repair order write up process, and providing vehicle status updates to customers
  • Manage loaner car fleet and processes
  • Ensure lobbies are properly stocked, machines are maintained and areas are presentable daily
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience working in a dealership Service Department is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite along with the ability to learn new programs
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High energy with a helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Hours and Work Environment This is an onsite position at the dealership located in Chandler, AZ. The Service Department is open Monday – Friday 7am to 6pm and Saturday 7am to 4pm. We are looking for flexible candidates who are able to work various shifts during our normal business hours.
