We are united by our mission to help small business owners run their businesses more efficiently. About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of our AI-driven bookkeeping and tax products by managing comprehensive accounting tasks and interacting with both internal stakeholders and clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle various bookkeeping tasks, including categorization, job costing, and reconciliation.
- Perform full-charge bookkeeping and utilize advanced accounting tools and systems, such as POS systems setup, QBO integration, and accounts receivable/payable work.
- Support company onboardings, regular reviews, month-end close, year-end close processes, and other critical client lifecycle events.
- Communicate effectively with clients to answer questions, gather information, and explain bookkeeping data clearly.
- Drive continuous improvement in our automated bookkeeping systems and contribute to our business intelligence solutions. Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in both cash and accrual-based accounting, preferably with multi-client experience.
- Expertise in financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and U.S. GAAP compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with POS systems, QuickBooks Online, and accounts receivable/payable. Why Join Us?
