VP of Finance

LaSalle Network is seeking a VP of Finance for our partner, a rapidly growing retail startup headquartered in the Atlanta area. The VP of Finance will lead all finance and accounting activities for the company and will be a crucial member of the company’s leadership team. 

VP of Finance Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives 

• Provide insights into key financial decisions and risks, ensuring the long-term financial health of the organization 

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders 

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, identifying trends and recommending actionable strategies 

• Guide potential future mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships 

• Oversee the human resources function for the company and enforce existing policies and procedures 

• Conduct due diligence, financial modeling and risk assessment for potential transactions 

• Monitor and analyze variances, providing strategic recommendations to achieve financial targets 

• Optimize cash flow and liquidity, ensuring the company's ability to meet its financial obligations 

• Stay abreast of financial regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards 

• Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing robust internal controls 

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture 

• Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams to drive financial and operational excellence 

VP of Finance Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred 

• Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, with a track record of successful M&A transactions 

• Past experience overseeing the human resources function and team 

• Experience in CPG or retail is required 

• Extensive knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and best practices 

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to provide actionable insights 

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization 

• Prior experience in a high-growth startup is strongly preferred
