Warehouse Associate

Acker is looking for a permanent full-time Warehouse Associate that will be a support to Acker Storage LLC’s warehouse operations. This position work as part of a team to unload, inventory and code inbound products.

Inspect product for defects and damages.
Unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
Box and barcode inventory with accuracy
Check, verify and fulfill outbound orders.
Conduct frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.
Operates forklift truck when necessary.
Organize warehouse space.
Abide by all company safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Performs other related duties as requested.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Forklift operator certification a plus.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, stand, sit and reach.
Stand or walk for long periods of time.
Ability to regularly lift and move 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Navigate a warehouse and reach items both high and low.
Working Conditions:

Temperature controlled warehouse environment.
Working hours are typically from 8am to 5pm with a half hour lunch.
Must be available to work overtime, including Saturdays when requested.
