This Customer Service Representative opportunity is located in Houston, Texas, and is a long-term contract / temporary engagement. ·        Develop strong relationships with customers to anticipate logistic needs.

·        Cross-train two other Customer Service Representatives to be named by the Supervisor to ensure timely & accurate customer service when you are out of the office

·        Coordinate internal resources including physical assets and personnel with Planning and Operations departments to meet customer requirements.

·        Liaison between Customer, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Planning Departments.  

·        Coordinate activities of communications and monitor inventory for respective accounts.

·        Responsible for timely and accurate customer invoicing

·        Ensure timely resolution of issues.

·        Enter data into TMS and customers’ systems and close out all customer-assigned orders in TMS accurately.

·        Meetings with customers.

·        Confirm all direct moves with the customers’ surveyors and maintain all the supporting documentation. Maintain all the truck, rail, and marine orders by tank number.

·        Verify that all truck and rail movements are accurately reported on the tank activity reports.

·        Maintain all end-of-month reports.

·        Enter all customer complaints/non-conformances into Intelex.

·        Follow company policies and comply with company regulations. Cooperate and support colleagues.

- 2+ years' experience of proven performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment desired

- Comfort in pursuing resolutions to complicated customer inquiries using complex research methods

- Proven ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

- Foundational knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

- Strong communication and social skills

- Strong customer service and office administrative skills

- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Program skills

- Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

- SAP experience

- Comprehensive knowledge of customer service

- Supportive, positive attitude with a professional demeanour applied to all tasks

- Comfort and confidence when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers
