Executive Director (Virginia based)

Or client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization based in Virginia. As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the organization's strategic plan to achieve its mission and goals.
• Oversee all operational aspects, including finance, human resources, and program management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and community leaders.
• Lead and manage a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Oversee fundraising and development efforts to ensure financial sustainability.
• Represent the organization in public forums and engage in advocacy and awareness activities.
• Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as an Executive Director or similar.
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning and organizational management.
• Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in fundraising and donor management.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the local community and nonprofit sector in Virginia.
