Position Summary

Assist with the acquisition and ordering of parts, work order creation, fuel management and inventory for the Southern Paving Shop/Fleet.

Responsibilities

Filing
Parts running
Assist with end of month activities
Pressure washing equipment as needed
Shop clean-up and organization

Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
Other duties as required

Skills/Experience

Ability to work independently / Self motivated
Ability to prioritize conflicting demands
Strong communication and organizational skills required
Ability to build effective working relationships with employees, customers and vendors
General understanding of construction equipment and industry
Desire to advance within shop department
Maintenance related experience preferred
Colorado Driver’s License with Clean Motor Vehicle Record
