Production Manager - Leading Industry Pay

As manufacturing production manager, you will be responsible for leading production activities across 3 shifts.  In addition, you will drive continuous improvement actions and implement production related processes.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø  Supervise salaried and hourly workers in a union production facility.

Ø  As a “hands-on” leader, bring teams together to improve manufacturing KPIs and bottom-line results within production operations.

Ø  Improve consistency in the way manufacturing processes are documented, implemented, and sustained through training, standard work and structured processes.

Ø  Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve KPIs in the areas of cost, quality, fill, and productivity.

Ø  Use lean tools to simplify production operations.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

v  Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management

v  Ideally 5 or more years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing

v  Experience working in a unionized manufacturing setting.

v  Strong background using lean and Six Sigma tools to drive improvements.

v  Ability to influence and empower others through strong communication skills.
