Warehouse Associate, Layout - Start Now

Summary:

Responsible for picking, packing scanning orders and storing materials, all in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

·         Familiar with functions pertaining to the barcode process

·         Work involved in filling customer orders

·         Breaking down large lots into smaller boxes and solve problems for missing parts

·         Loading and unloading of company vehicles/trucks using various warehouse equipment

·         General cleanliness of the warehouse

·         Receiving parts on the computer and process billing

·         Put away future orders and pull them when ready to ship

·         Make labels to put on packages to see they get to the correct customer

·         Make packages to fit the goods distributed by the company

·         Proficient in using the UPS Manifest system

·         Properly label all parts going to customer and stock

·         Compliance and resolution with company safety procedures, quality control book, and regulations

·         Train new employees as needed

·         Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

·         All other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

·         Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

·         Current forklift operator license/certification; Prior certifications in forklift driving/safety preferred

·         Demonstrate organizational skills, including strong detail orientation

·         Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

·         Ability to lift heavy objects

·         Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment

·         A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

·         Excels at operating in a fast-paced environment

Education, Experience, Licenses and Certifications:

·         High School Diploma

·         Proven past warehouse work experience
