Commercial Development Intern - Positive Work Culture

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Commercial Development Intern to support the implementation and management of our newly launched business to business Extended Warranty Program, offering dental practices the opportunity to protect their capital equipment and technology. This individual will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure the smooth execution of the program and provide valuable insights to optimize its performance..

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in Program Expansion: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand the Extended Warranty Program, including setting up systems, processes, and documentation.
• Support Sales and Marketing Initiatives: Assist in developing promotional materials, presentations, and sales collateral to educate our sales team and customers to drive further awareness of the Extended Warranty Program.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze and ensure the integrity of data related to program performance, including sales metrics, customer feedback, and warranty claims. Prepare regular reports and presentations to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of the Extended Warranty Program. Work collaboratively with internal teams to implement process enhancements and optimize the customer experience.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as needed, including managing documentation, organizing meetings, and assisting with program logistics.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive insights and decision-making
• Familiarity with marketing tools and processes
• Knows and understands Excel, Power Point, Word and other Office products
• Design experience with Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Canva, or other similar tools a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE:

No experience required. Relevant previous experience is a plus.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. tudying Marketing or similar degree in Business; interested in business development.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted hourly rate for this internship position is based on both your education and location.

Candidates possessing up to and including a high school diploma can receive either $15 or $16/hr depending on location.

Candidates currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent can receive either $18 or $20/hr depending on location.

Candidates possessing a bachelor's degree or equivalent and currently pursuing an advanced, post-graduate degree (i.e., MS, MBA, JD, etc.) can receive either $22 or $24/hr depending on location.
