YouthConnect Youth and Teen Evening Camp Counselor (Summer Seasonal)

Description

Do you have experience working with teens and want to help them have a fun enjoyable summer while building connections with others? If so, please consider applying and joining the Youth & Teen team at the Central Community Branch YMCA.

Under the direction of the Senior Program Director, the Camp Counselors will assist with planning and implementing a safe, inclusive, active teen camp which encompasses creative and physical activities.

There will be a focus on leadership development, mentorship, skill building. Activities will include both land and water activities.

The prospective counselors should be creative, responsible, and reliable. They must have the ability to multitask, take initiative and work well independently, and as a team.

**Applicants MUST BE at least 21 years of age as they will be working with teenaged individuals.

Schedule: Mondays - Fridays 5pm-9pm

Job Type: Summer Seasonal Part-Time

Pay: $16.00/hour. Plus, access to YMCA facilities for all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave
