Job Description:

Corning is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as an Online Accounts Receivable Associate in New York City, New York. This part-time position is perfect for someone with at least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and is looking to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities: - Manage online accounts receivable for the company, including processing payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving any discrepancies - Monitor and analyze customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on past due accounts - Develop and maintain relationships with customers to facilitate smooth payment processes - Work closely with internal teams to resolve any billing issues and ensure accuracy in invoicing - Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable for management review - Implement best practices for improving the accounts receivable process and efficiency - Adhere to company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance role - Strong project management skills and leadership abilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision - Experience with online payment systems and e-commerce platforms is a plus
