Job Description - Customer Care Representative - Work from home

As a Customer Care Representative at Merck, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home while providing exceptional service to our customers in San Francisco, California. This part-time position is ideal for individuals at the Associate Level with at least 3 years of experience in customer service.


Responsibilities: - Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner - Resolve customer issues and complaints with empathy and efficiency - Maintain accurate customer records and information in our CRM system - Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer experiences - Identify trends in customer feedback and suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction - Provide product information and assist with order processing as needed - Meet or exceed customer care metrics and goals set by the company


Requirements: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Confident and resilient attitude when dealing with challenging customer situations - Ability to plan and organize tasks effectively - Analytical skills to identify patterns and trends in customer interactions - Previous experience in a customer service role preferred - High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
