Job Description:

TIAA is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Indianapolis office. This part-time entry-level position is perfect for someone with at least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance who is looking to grow their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: - Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Assist with month-end closing activities - Maintain accurate and organized financial records - Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues - Assist with ad hoc duties as needed by the finance team

Requirements: - Motivated and passionate about working in the finance industry - Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate with others - Basic understanding of accounting principles - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software - Organized and detail-oriented - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
