Jira Administrator

We are seeking a JIRA System Administrator to join our IT team. As a JIRA System Administrator, you will be responsible for strategic ownership, management, and maintenance of our Jira system. You with be the main point of contact for vendors, corporate, and local teams to drive governance, design, and strategic improvements for enhanced efficiency and productivity when it comes to Jira. Initially you will work on JIRA and Tempo rollout in the Data and Digital Media pillar, but as the needs of the IT team continue to grow, you will have the opportunity to learn new technologies and propose projects. Automating IT tasks will be a focus.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Ownership: Responsible for the strategic ownership, management, and maintenance of Jira at MediaMonks.
• Vendor Interface: Act as the primary point of contact between MediaMonks and Jira vendor, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
• Interface with Teams: Collaborate with Corporate, local DDM teams to understand their needs and align Jira functionalities accordingly.
• Governance & Design: Implement and maintain overall governance and design standards for Jira to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
• Centralized Approach: Establish and maintain a centralized approach for system maintenance, access management, onboarding, and training of Jira users.
• Strategic Improvements: Identify opportunities for strategic improvements in Jira system and processes, and lead their implementation to enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in administering Jira or similar project management tools.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interface with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to design and implement governance strategies for system maintenance and access management.
• Experience in driving strategic improvements in systems and processes.
• Certification in Jira administration or related fields is a plus.
