Jira Associate

We are seeking a JIRA Associate to join our IT team, where you will play a vital role in supporting the Jira platform and executing day-to-day actions in line with system governance and design. Reporting to the Jira Administrator, you will take charge of onboarding, user training, global support, deployment assistance, and strategic improvement implementation to drive efficiency and productivity within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support Jira Platform: Assist in supporting the Jira platform and execute day-to-day actions in alignment with system governance and design.
• Onboarding & User Account Management: Facilitate onboarding processes and manage user accounts within the Jira system.
• User Training: Provide user training sessions to ensure efficient utilization of Jira functionalities.
• First Line of Global Support: Serve as the initial point of contact for global support related to Jira usage and troubleshooting.
• Deployment Support: Assist in deployment activities related to Jira system updates and enhancements.
• Strategic Improvement Implementation: Collaborate with the Jira Administrator in implementing strategic improvements to enhance system efficiency.
• Timesheet Adherence Management: Monitor and manage timesheet adherence within the Jira platform.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in supporting Jira platform or similar project management tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for effective onboarding, training, and support.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement strategic improvements.
• Familiarity with timesheet management processes is advantageous.
• Certification in Jira administration or related fields is a plus.
