Your New Role…

Software Engineer 2 is needed to support the strategy of the company to potentiate digital products and delivers a great user experience to our final users. Will be responsible for design and implement both frontend and backend solutions related with both web and mobile applications using web-based technologies. Will have to work and collaborate closely with software engineers, designers, product managers and stakeholders of the different Turner’s brands to understand the needs related with the webs and apps needed to support the business.

Your Role Accountabilities…

• Develop & Architect of frontend and backend solutions using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, HTML, CSS, Sass, Webpack working in AWS cloud environments
• Develop middleware solutions to support Frontend using Node.js, npm, GraphQL
• Work with Scrum / Participate in Agile ceremonies / demos
• Documentation: Must demonstrate professionalism in the creation and standardization of documentation, documenting general description of the development, processes, and knowledge for future developers
• 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Extensive experience writing HTML and CSS given a visual/UX design to create web layouts and working with NodeJS
• Experience integrating with RESTful web services and API’s
• Experience writing unit and integration tests for front end applications
• Familiar with AWS Cloud infrastructure and different databases
• Expertise in JavaScript frameworks, especially React, service- oriented architecture and NextJS.
• Fluent English to apply in a working environment to collaborate efficiently in that language
• Student or BA/BS degree in Computer Science related degree but candidates with outstanding experience should apply

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and Microservices preferred
• Experience with Drupal CMS and PHP language preferred
• Previous experience with media delivery products preferred
• Mobile development in any platform: Native -iOS and/or Android-, React Native, Flutter preferred
• Familiar with Docker, Github and Jenkins preferred
• Experience with React Native preferred
• Good understanding of responsive cross-browser CSS, including SASS or LESS preferred

Turner International Argentina se encuentra en la búsqueda de un Full Stack Developer

Con base en Buenos Aires esta posición participará en el desarrollo de la plataforma Cartoon Network Internacional, implementando nuevas funcionalidades, analizando/resolviendo incidencias y facilitando a equipos de desarrollo externos.

Quien ocupe esta posición tendrá las siguientes responsabilidades:

• Desarrollar nuevas características de productos y soluciones escalables utilizando tecnologías de desarrollo de software tanto back-end como front-end.
• Ayudar en la definición y diseño de nuevas funciones en conjunto con el equipo de producto.
• Colaborar en la investigación de mejoras de código y performance de la aplicación, al mismo tiempo de resolución de incidentes.
• Colaborar y guiar a las agencias externas en el desarrollo de nuevas funciones o de la plataforma internacional de Cartoon Network Internacional.

Requisitos Excluyentes

Más de dos años de experiencia como Full Stack Developer

Más de dos años de experiencia práctica en programación en uno o más de las siguientes tecnologías:

- Back-End: Java (Spring, Hibernate, JUnit), NodeJS (Express)

- Front-End: HTML, CSS y Javascript (ReactJS, AngularJS)

- Base de datos: relacional (PostgreSQL, MySQL) y no relacional (MongoDB, DynamoDB) Experiencia trabajando con el sistema de control de versiones Git.

- Experiencia en Amazon Web Services y microservicios.

- Experiencia trabajando con metodologías ágiles.

- Nivel avanzado de inglés (escrito y oral)

Requisitos Deseables (No obligatorios)

Experiencia de desarrollo en cualquiera de los siguientes:

- Móvil: Android (iOS), iOS (Objective-C, Swift) - Android TV - Smart-TV

Experiencia con servicios PaaS, IaaS (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), así como en procesos de integración y despliegue continúo.
