Payment Operations AnalystBuenos Aires, ArgentinaDescriptionAre you looking for a graduate position that isn't your typical cog-in-the-machine type of job?is a FinTech company changing the face of marketplace payments where every employee directly influences, impacts and builds the business.If you are a high achiever with talent who is looking for something more than a boring job in corporate, wants to work with the best and brightest, doesn't need to be hand held and wants to be in at ground zero with a company that has a shot at being one of the biggest sites on the internet then this could be the place for you.is the recommended transaction settlement service of many of the top names in eCommerce, including Shopify,GoDaddy and AutoTrader.It's also recommended by the US Commercial Service and has been involved in some of the Internet's largest transactions.Our offices are in the San Francisco, Vancouver, Buenos Aires, London and Sydney.is expanding in Buenos Aires and we are now looking for a Payments Operations Analyst to manage payments on our platform.You'll be looking after six, seven and eight-figure transactions on a daily basis and ensuring that payments are taken and released properly.We are looking for anyone who has recently graduated or will be graduating soon, who is looking for their next challenge and has an interest in working for one of the world's leading tech companies.Responsibilities :- Review and resolve high volumes of day-to-day payment processing with speed and accuracy- As needed, contact customers regarding the status of their payments while providing excellent customer support- Make recommendations for process improvements related to daily payment operations procedures- Understand basic banking processes and procedures (ACH, check, etc.)- Reviews,analyzes and resolves simple to complex payment processing issues- Partners with multiple internal departments and external banking institutions to resolve issues- Ability to communicate effectively with teams across the world in our other offices.Payments In :- Reconciling inbound payments with created transactions throughout the day.- Follow up with customers with payment issues over the phone and via email to ensure full receipt.- Perform anti-fraud procedures using data provided via our internal reporting systems.Payments Out :- Reviewing completed escrows to ensure that all conditions of release and anti-fraud controls have been satisfied.- Close out escrows and distribute funds in line with the seller's disbursement method.- Reconcile outbound payments with closed escrows throughout the day.- Support client enquiries over the phone and via emailRequirements- Accounting / business, quantitative, or analytical degree.- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.- Very strong personal and customer service abilities.BenefitsThis won't be your typical cog-in-the-machine type of job.
