We sell to some of the most sensitive, mission critical large enterprises and government agencies in the world.Reporting to the SVP People, the HR Business Partner is responsible for ensuring that employees and management can achieve their business objectives as a cohesive, effective team, while maintaining a unique, appealing, and effective culture. In this role, you will provide advice and counsel to the executive team and management in assigned business units, and will act as an advocate for employees. In partnership with HR technical experts, you will ensure that corporate HR programs are effectively delivered to your client group. The initial assignment will be supporting our global sales organization, including offices across the US, Europe, and the Middle East. Your primary clients will include our Chief Revenue Officer, our head of EMEA, and other regional leaders and managers.Duties/Responsibilities:- Consult regularly with executives and management to optimize team and individual performance toward the achievement of business objectives.- Analyze relevant metrics, particularly around engagement and turnover, and develop data-based action plans based to address organizational growth areas which you identify.- Provide performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed.- With HR technical experts, rollout corporate HR programs to your business group, such as annual merit increases, ensuring that both corporate and business unit objectives are met.- Partner with leadership to organize structured team gatherings, strengthening connection and collaboration.- Provide guidance on organizational restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.- Identify training needs for employees, managers, and executives, and assists in finding resources to address those needs.- Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:- Business acumen. You are an experienced business leader, who can understand key drivers of business success and sales effectiveness.- Experience working with international clients, including basic familiarity with international labor law in several countries (UK and Germany preferred), or the skills to become familiar.- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.- Excellent interpersonal skills.- Excellent time management and organizational skills, and attention to detail.- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficient with Google Office Suite or similar.Education and Experience:- Minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues. May include experience in various areas of human resources.Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement and culture, compensation, diversity, performance management, and compliance.- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)credential desirable.We are proud of our culture and values - driving diversity of background and thought, low-ego results, applied curiosity and tireless service to our customers and community.
