The BusinessMedia.Monks is a global creative production company that partners with clients across industries and markets to craft amazing work for leading businesses and brands.Its integrated production capabilities span the entire creative spectrum, covering anything you could want from a production partner, and probably more.From creative campaigns and content to bespoke development and design, MediaMonks works above the line and below the fold at the intersection of creativity and technology.Operating across teams, time zones, and technologies with an incredible in-house team of more than 5000 Monks, including recent S4Capital mergers.Its work is recognized by advertising and craft awards around the world,producing 131 Cannes Lions and 250+ FWAs to date.Founded in 2001 and rooted in digital, you can find Media.Monks anywhere on the Web as well as in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Mountain View, Sandpoint, Toronto, New York, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Hilversum, Cape Town, Stockholm, Kiev, Dnepr, Moscow, Nur-Sultan, Dubai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland.The RoleWe are looking for an Accounting Director who will be responsible for leading the finance team that supervises the financials of SPLA, taxes, payroll, and corporate reporting among other responsibilities.She / He will be invested in ensuring a high-performance community and product aligned to a common purpose.ResponsibilitiesOperations & Leadership- Responsible for full Planning & Control cycle Inc. monthly closings, and cash flow.- Responsible for the finance management of MediaMonks Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico P for the Data and Media businesses and related operations of the Agency.- Ensure compliance with appropriate controls and IFRS.- Main contact person for Internal and external audits.- Execution is driven to implement and maintain strong business operations locally.- Partner with business owners to aid strategic decision-making and ensure the proper operation of the business.- Manage and liaise with various stakeholders, Finance and Tax Team of the Parent company (S4)- Ensure all reporting is compliant with statutory requirements and tax regulations- Constantly contribute to further documenting and improving processes as well as building a future-proof finance and reporting structure- Inspiring and cultivating team members, mentoring / coaching and strengthening their capabilities and knowledge set.- Role in implementing new ERP / Finance systemsQualifications & Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance,Economics or similar.
