The Company has completed the commissioning works of the Lithium Carbonate Pilot Plant and will now begin operations with the overall goal of producing battery grade Lithium Carbonate. The Pilot Plant will look to produce an initial sample batch using synthetic brine of approximately 50-100kg of product.

Following completion of this milestone, evaporated brine, currently being sourced from the Stage 1 Drilling Program, will be utilised to produce approximately 2 to 10 tonnes of Lithium Carbonate products anticipated to be battery grade product. After this, the Company will consider relocation of the Pilot Plant to site following the completion of construction and filling of evaporation ponds to provide feed for the plant.

In relation to the commencement of operations at the plant, Pursuit Managing Director & CEO, Aaron Revelle, said:

“The Rio Grande Sur Project continues to advance toward first production at a significant pace. With plant operations now underway, we look forward to the production of the first Lithium Carbonate products demonstrating the enormous potential of the Rio Grande Sur Lithium Project.”

In conjunction with our Stage 1 drilling program which is currently underway and the potential upgrade to our existing JORC resource, we continue to make significant progress on multiple fronts as we move toward becoming a Lithium producer. To this end, we continue to progress the environmental permitting applications to commence construction of the evaporation ponds which is currently being targeted for this year. The entire team is very excited about the production process, and we look forward to reporting on the results over the coming months.”

It has come to the attention of the Board of CleanTech Lithium PLC (AIM:CTL, Frankfurt: T2N, OTCQX: CTLHF) , an exploration and development company advancing lithium projects in Chile, that on 16 August 2023 the Company's CEO, Aldo Boitano, has entered into a loan agreement with a financial institution ('Lender'), under which he agreed to provide security over ordinary shares ('Ordinary Shares') that he held in the Company. As part of these arrangements through a series of transactions between 8 September 2023 and 6 February 2024 Mr Boitano transferred his entire holding of 9,400,002 Ordinary Shares to a custodian account nominated by the Lender. Mr Boitano is not able to ascertain the extent to which these Ordinary Shares may have been transferred to a further nominee account in the name of the Lender or the extent to which any such Ordinary Shares may have been sold by the Lender to third parties. Consequently, Mr Boitano is unable to disclose his current beneficial holding of Ordinary Shares to the Company and the extent to which his original holding of 9,400,002 Ordinary Shares may have been disposed of by the Lender to third parties.

Sabre Resources Ltd (ASX: SBR) (“Sabre” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that further broad-spaced soil sampling results have defined a large lithium anomaly within the extensive 700 sq.km Cave Hill Project tenements, south of Coolgardie in Western Australia’s world-class Eastern Goldfields gold, nickel and lithium province (see Figure 1, below).

Coniagas Battery Metals (TSXV:COS) is focused on developing world-class nickel, copper and cobalt projects, starting with the Graal property in Quebec, according to Frank Basa, the company’s CEO. Coniagas is a spinout of Nord Precious Metals Mining (TSXV:NTH ,OTCQB:CCWOF), formerly Canada Silver Cobalt Works , which is continuing to work on its past-producing Castle silver-cobalt project.

“We still have about 14 properties, including Graal. We spend most of our time and money on Graal because odds are there's something there,” Basa said. “We might start drilling right away, and we might have some very high crazy numbers for copper-nickel. ... There's some cobalt values. The property's potential is massive.”

Early exploration work and drilling at the Graal property indicate a potentially large deposit of high-grade nickel, copper and cobalt near surface.
