Head of Finance and Accounting Construction

At a time of exponential growth and with a view to excellence in the delivery of its projects, a company in the construction and development sector is looking for new financial leadership, with the aim of ensuring that all financial practices are carried out in accordance with legal regulations and best practices of market.

As Head of Finance and Accounting, you will be responsible for leading the restructuring and improvement of the department, focusing on the areas of accounting, treasury, accounts payable and receivable, credit and collection, aiming to improve processes and integrate financial strategies throughout the organization.

Main responsabilities:

• Lead the finance and accounting areas, being responsible for the company’s economic and financial performance;

• Restructure and automate treasury, accounts payable and receivable, credit and collection processes;

• Reevaluate essential business processes, suggesting changes that impact the company’s financial cycle;

• Develop or improve effective financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices;

• Provide financial guidance and support to the team and other teams, ensuring the effective integration of financial strategies across the organization;

• Develop strategies to optimize cash management, minimizing fundraising costs and maximizing returns on investments;

• Establish and maintain solid relationships with banks and other financial institutions by negotiating favorable banking terms and conditions, including lines of credit, loans and banking services;

• Present the company to the capital market, managing to issue securities, such as CRIs and Debentures;

• Structure and conduct financial planning, involving accounting, tax, treasury and controllership;

• Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, in addition to ensuring the security of the company’s assets;

• Promote critical analyzes related to pricing and margin of new products.

Requiriments:

• Desirable degree in Accounting Sciences or similar;

• Proven experience in senior financial management positions in the development, construction or real estate market;

• Experience in raising funds via the capital markets is required;

• Analytical, communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to make informed decisions in complex and rapidly changing environments;

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and promote a collaborative, high-performance work environment;

• Mobility to reside in Paraná.
