We’re looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, productive, and professional candidate to fill this role. As a Sales Portfolio Manager, you are directly responsible for explaining the features and benefits of a new car upgrade to service customers and end-of-lease clients while maximizing customer satisfaction standards. You should demonstrate a superior knowledge of Mercedes-Benz vehicles and programs had have exceptional selling, negotiating, and closing skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Meet and greet clients at sales and service buildings; Actively listen and ask questions to determine client vehicle needs; Engage with customers to build relationships; Maintain customer satisfaction scores standards and positive social media exposure.
  • Prospect and process full and early-term lease renewals; Set appointments with all lease clients that are coming to an end.
  • Prospect and cultivate self-generated leads to convert to sales using: CRM database and tools, personal contacts, service appointment database, and other methods; review, update and log client information and follow up on all sales leads and inquires to achieve unit sales volume objectives.
  • Introduce clients to sales managers and work closely with sales associates during the delivery of client’s vehicles.
  • Complete Mercedes-Benz and dealership training. Keep up-to-date on the latest technology, vehicle features, and financial programs.
  • Proactively communicate potential issues with customers, management and other departments in order to provide the best possible customer experience.
  • Abide by company policy and departmental best practices, procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Prior to being employed, applicants for employment must participate in RBM’s normal screening process which includes: completing a full employment application; satisfactory criminal, credit and driving records checks (where applicable); in-person interviews and other inquiries.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent and authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
  • All applicants must have a clean driving record and must be insurable.
  • Previous experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities is preferred.
  • Available to work in-person, full-time hours. Shifts vary.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the drive to work independently and ability to be self-motivated to reach goals.
  • Basic problem-solving; basic mathematical skills using American units of measure.
  • Extensive knowledge and ability to use technology such as computers, internet, smart phones, CRM database, etc. to effectively complete tasks.
  • Physical demands include: frequently position body and move in order to greet clients and drive to/traverse dealership properties; operate equipment; and repetitive motion. Work is conducted inside, outside, on public and private roadways, and in proximity to moving vehicles and loud noises.
