Accounts Officer

We are working with a WA based organisation to source an Accounts Officer on a temporary basis for an estimated tenure of 8 months (could extend)

This role has arisen due to an internal movement to assist with an implementations project, and this Accounts Officer is a backfill.

You'll be working in a friendly and hardworking team, with an organisation that champions individuality and growth.

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:

• Assist in processing invoices and payments for accounts payable and receivable.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of basic financial records.
• Help reconcile bank statements and transaction reports.
• Enter financial data into accounting systems accurately.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing and document management.
• Respond to routine queries about accounts from internal teams or external vendors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a supportive environment
