Acting Global Distribution Develpment and Partnerships Manager

We are excited to offer a 2-month acting opportunity for the role of Global Distribution Development & Partnerships Manager at Tourism Australia. This Sydney Based Role will commence on 1 April 2026.

About the Role:
In this acting position, you will lead initiatives to strengthen and grow Tourism Australia’s global distribution development and partnerships. This includes supporting strategic development, managing key stakeholder relationships and identifying opportunities to drive growth across international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and execution of global distribution strategies


• Manage and strengthen partnerships with travel trade and industry partners internationally


• Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities to expand Tourism Australia’s reach


• Provide insights and analysis to inform partnership decisions and market development initiatives


• Represent Tourism Australia externally, ensuring a consistent and professional presence in all interactions

About You:

• Degree-qualified in a relevant field, with strong experience in partnership management, business development, or travel industry engagement


• Proven ability to work with diverse international stakeholders


• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills


• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
