Assistant Property Accountant

The Role:
We are partnering with a well-established organisation within the property sector, based in Sydney CBD, that is seeking an Assistant Property Accountant to join their finance team on a contract basis. This role has become available to provide cover during a busy period and is ideal for someone who is immediately available and confident working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Acting as a key point of contact for finance-related queries across AP and AR
* Managing tenancy ledger adjustments and resolving discrepancies
* Reviewing and correcting rental charges, including processing refunds
* Assisting with bank reconciliations and daily finance operations
* Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required

About You:
* Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant
* Property or real estate industry experience is essential
* Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
* Tech-savvy and able to quickly pick up new systems
* High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
* Confident communicator, able to work autonomously and within a team
* Must be immediately available and ready to start
