Job Description - Cyber Security Analyst (Security Clearance)

Position : Cyber Security Analyst

Onsite (5 days / week)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst with a strong focus on Incident Management to support a secure, high -profile environment. The role involves monitoring, analysing, responding to, and managing cyber security incidents in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security events and alerts to identify potential cyber incidents

Lead and manage security incident response activities end -to -end

Perform incident triage, investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery

Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders during incident handling

Maintain accurate incident records, reports, and post -incident reviews

Support continuous improvement of incident response processes and playbooks

Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or similar role

Strong expertise in Incident Management / Incident Response

Hands -on experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms

Good understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques

Ability to work in a high -pressure, security -sensitive environment

Strong communication and documentation skills

Mandatory Requirements

Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 / NV2)
