We are currently seeking an experienced Embryologist/ IVF Scientist to join our Newcastle team on a 12 month maternity leave contract. This role will see you working across Andrology, Endocrinology and Embryology. As an integral part of our team; your scope of work will include;

• Manual handling of gametes and embryos
• Intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
• Diagnostic Andrology procedures
• Pre-implantation Diagnosis (PGD) including embryo hatching, biopsy and tissue handling
• Laboratory maintenance including equipment checks, maintaining stock and maintenance
• Communicating directly with patients and maintaining accurate records

This role will suit an experienced Embryologist with a Bachelors degree qualification in Science as well as 1-2 years relevant experience working in Embryology. Naturally you’ll come with strong laboratory skills however we understand that to transform the lives of our patients, whilst proving the utmost in care and compassion, we must have this consideration for each other, our culture and throughout our organisation.
