The Literacy Coordinator provides creative and dynamic leadership to support the development of literacy across the College. The Literacy Coordinator will work in partnership with the Director of Teaching and Learning, the Numeracy Coordinator and key staff to monitor and support the literacy development of students in Years Reception- Year 9. The
Literacy Coordinator will demonstrate a commitment to students and ensure that students develop the literacy knowledge, skills and attributes they need to thrive in a rapidly changing and complex world. The Literacy Coordinator works collaboratively with colleagues, parents/caregivers and CESA personnel to facilitate the enrichment of learning across the
College.

The Literacy Coordinator works in partnership with key staff and will have the responsibility of implementing and developing the College’s strategy towards improved Literacy and Numeracy. The Literacy Coordinator will primarily work with the Teaching and Learning Team. They will also support the broader teaching staff and be supported by the College Leadership Team. The Literacy Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring outstanding learning opportunities are provided to students along with the ongoing improvement of learning
