Numeracy Coordinator - POR 1 

The Numeracy Coordinator provides creative and dynamic leadership to support the development of numeracy across the College. The Numeracy Coordinator will work in partnership with the Director of Teaching and Learning, the Literacy Coordinator and key staff to monitor and support the numeracy development of students in Reception- Year 9. The Numeracy Coordinator will demonstrate a commitment to students and ensure that students develop the numeracy knowledge, skills and attributes they need to thrive in a rapidly changing and complex world. The Numeracy Coordinator works collaboratively with colleagues, parents/caregivers and CESA personnel to facilitate the enrichment of learning across the College.

The Numeracy Coordinator works in partnership with key staff and will have the responsibility of implementing and developing the College’s strategy towards improved Literacy and Numeracy. The Numeracy Coordinator will primarily work with the Teaching and Learning Team. They will also support the broader teaching staff and be supported by the College Leadership Team. The Numeracy Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring outstanding learning
opportunities are provided to students along with the ongoing improvement of learning outcomes.
