Exercise Physiologist

Ability Action Australia are one of the largest providers to the NDIS, supporting over 10,000 participants every year with the care they need, when and where it is needed. #AAA have a multi-disciplinary team approach, building a quality support service around the needs and goals of our participants and their family.

We are expanding our team in Penrith and would love to welcome a passionate and dedicated independent Exercise Physiologist Contractor to join us in making a positive impact in our community. 

We are open to applications from Exercise Physiologists in Penrith with experience working with NDIS participants.

In this role you will:

• Assisting NDIS participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
• Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based exercise interventions within a complex support space.
• Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths, as well as ensuring they get more out of life.
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Current registration with ESSA as an Exercise Physiologist.
• Experience working with NDIS participants.
• Relevant insurance including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
• Police clearance, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Active ABN.
