The Role

Are you a finance professional who thrives on building relationships and making a tangible impact on community well-being? We are currently seeking an engaging Finance Business Partner to join a leading health-focused organisation based in Melbourne's inner suburbs.

This is a 4-6-month temporary assignment designed to provide critical support during a period of leave. You will join a culture-first environment that offers genuine hybrid work-from-home flexibility.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the "story" behind the numbers. Who wants to be the primary link between the finance function and operational leads, ensuring that frontline services have the financial clarity they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Partnering with four main operational leads on fund allocation and budgeting.
• Translate financial results, budgets, and forecasts into clear, insights for non‑finance leaders
• Month-end process, month‑end reporting and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and the wider finance team.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modelling to inform decision‑making

Your Profile

You're a Finance Business Partner with interest or experience in the Not‑for‑Profit or Health sectors, whether you are fully qualified or currently working toward your CA or CPA.

You will bring strong communication and ability to partner with financial and non-financial stakeholders on cost overruns and budgets.

You thrive in collaborative teams, jump in where needed.
