FP&A Analyst (12-Month FTC) | Education | $125k-$137k + 17% Super

We're currently partnering with a well-regarded organisation in the higher education sector that is investing heavily in its finance function and undergoing a significant period of transformation.

As part of this journey, they're looking to appoint an FP&A Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of permanency.

This role goes beyond traditional reporting, it's a genuine business partnering position where you'll play a key role in supporting decision-making, improving processes, and helping uplift the capability of the wider finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partnering and supporting the Finance Business Partner to maximise the effectiveness of the budget and support strategic financial outcomes
• Leading and delivering financial planning cycles, including budget preparation, forecasting, and multi-year planning
• Providing expert financial advice and insights to senior stakeholders to enable informed decision-making
• Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with the correct policies and procedures
• Overseeing month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis to monitor performance
• Building stakeholder capability by providing ongoing financial guidance and improving financial acumen across
• Conducting financial modelling, analysis, and scenario planning to support business initiatives and strategy
• Driving continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting practices while ensuring strong data integrity

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, analysis)
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
• A curious mindset, someone who naturally asks \"why?\"

• A proactive approach to improving processes and adding value
• Strong communication skills and able to translate numbers into insights
